Pride and Joy has designed and manufactured 2000 head rests and seatbelt sliders for a new seat reservation service roll out across all of the Stagecoach UK Megabus routes.
Pictured left to right is Megabus network manager, Mark Atkinson and Megabus managing director, Mark Venables with Jane Phillips of Pride and Joy at Bus and Coach 2019.
The headrest covers and seat belt sliders are to clearly identify reserved seating which is now being offered on all Megabus routes. 16 reserved seats are available on each Megabus vehicle in England and Wales, including airport services; and 24 seats on cross-border services from Scotland to London.
Reserved seating enables Megabus customers to ensure that they can sit with friends and family, it means that they can find their seat quickly and easily as they board and they can plan in advance whether they would like aisle or window seating.
“We are delighted to be working with such a well-known brand in the bus industry, our values align and that’s when a great partnership happens,” says Jane Phillips, managing director of Pride and Joy.
Megabus has since placed a follow-up order with Pride and Joy for 240 additional headrests for fitting to the new coaches coming into its fleet.
